Life is often inexplicably complicated. Hardships seemingly come and go without any rhyme or reason. Our lives as individuals and as members of society at large can be such a roller coaster ride. The experience of the Jewish people as recorded in scripture was no different. They went thru a lot and much of it was beyond explanation.
